About
ABOUTKamila Kaminska (b. 1984, Poland) formally began her studies in photography 12 years ago. In 2009 she enrolled in the Photography Studies program at Torontos Ryerson University. From 2001 to 2002 select pieces of her work were displayed at New City Hall in Toronto, upon which she was presented with the first prize award from the Gold Fish Arts Council. With a primary focus on fine art photography her travel and documentary style images capture the poetic essence of the subject.WRITTEN BY JAMES BIALY"As a photographer this medium is a way in which to grasp and eternalize a fleeting moment, an opportunity to portray the world interwoven with ones character. Photography is a personal creative journey that allows for an imaginative, artistic and inspired process. The mysticism of watching life transform into art and having the ability to transcend a viewer to that moment is unparalleled" -K.Kaminska
